Visited on a rather wet day which dampened my enthusiasm a little. The pictures in the gallery are not my thing but were enjoyable. Sculptures were good and the setting picturesque.
Excellent amazing thank you to all the volunteers and staff. Scons and staff at TEN shop were great too!
A magic place. Always something interesting going on. Whether you like Watts as an artist is almost irrelevant. The place exudes atmosphere. Great shop and tea room as well.
I have not been a great admirer of Watts although I have visited the museum a number of times as it really is a unique environment and quite special. However yesterday I began to enjoy looking at the paintins for the first time. Watts is not everyone's taste but is worth going with an open mind to enjoy the whole experience. Don't miss the chapel down the road. Quite magical
We have visited Watts Gallery during October half term. The free craft activities and materials on offer were of high quality and engaged my children (age range 4-12) for a good amount of time. My eldest two 10&12 also took part in a paid workshop on a different day and really enjoyed making cyborgs. We also purchased a few treats at the shop where they have a good quality of cards and gifts. The cafe offers delicious food at reasonable prices and everyone I spoke to at the Gallery are very welcoming, polite and friendly. What a treasure and a great find Watts Gallery is! I cant wait to see the Chapel on my next visit.
