Food is amazing. We booked a table and it was buy the fire place. In the summer you have a nice terrace to sit outside by the river. Good both for drinks and food. They also have a burger shack outside that is kind of separate but the same time together.
Good food, lively location and a large public car park right next door! We enjoyed a lunch there.
Met my very good friend here for our annual catch up. Lovely pub with great food and atmosphere. Very friendly attentive staff. Had a really great night with the awesome company of a good friend. Excellent night
We went for a meal, our party arrived separately but once all there we ordered food and over 45 minutes later a waiter arrived to ask if we had eaten, we had not even been spoken to in the last 45 minutes he then went to the kitchen and reappeared to tell us the chef had forgotten our order. We had to wait further for food, past 10pm. Food was okay some was cold but they did discount our bill and were very apologetic.
This is a lovely pub with an amazing atmosphere, a few years ago the food was fantastic as well. However, the last few times we have been the food has been average to poor and the price has gone up. Such a shame as this could be an amazing pub again if the food improved.
