Great views from the graveyard of this unique church perched at the top of a sandstone outcrop
Spiritually, this site has a surprisingly sinister reputation and some people say that there's something malignant here. The only explanation as to why the church was built on top of a steep hill was because there was a major pagan place of worship here beforehand. Three henges (ditched enclosures) survive, although not obvious. There are persistent rumours of black magic activity, and it seems that the Victorians rebuilt the church because it was going on then as well.
