I love John Carne! I used to trek up to Daniel Galvin and a friend recommended that I try John Carne. That was many years ago and I have been so glad that I made the change. The stylists and colourists are of a really high standard (the same as Daniel Galvin but much less costly)and it's such a friendly, welcoming salon. There is always someone available if you need an appointment quickly and the online booking system is simple and convenient too.
I've been going to John Carne for 18 years. In that time, I've tried other salons every now and again but you honestly won't get better service, stylists and people anywhere in Guildford. You get what you pay for and I'm always happy. Shaz and Dan are amazing and I'll not go anywhere else ever again.
Was a guest at a local hotel and was recommended the salon for a blow-dry. What a lovely salon it is. Welcoming staff, friendly atmosphere and I loved my hair and got lots of compliments. Well worth the very reasonable price too.High recommend.
I love the warm and welcoming atmosphere at this salon. The customer service is 100% and my requests have always been met. I have never left this salon unsatisfied. When I needed a colour change, the colour technician was able to talk me through the process and also give after care advice. I recently moved to Guildford and visited this salon upon recommendation from a friend. I was looking for restyle and a colour change.After the consultation the service provided was second to none. I was offered coffee and magazines and the apprentices regularly checked on me to see if I needed anything else.I was absolutely thrilled with the end result and have received many complements from my friends and family. I would definitely recommend the salon and will be returning when I need another colour/cut.
