BEWARE! on Bank Holiday Monday they charge normal fees rather than reduced fees as on Sundays. We wanted to visit Guildford on Bank Holiday Monday so I've checked the opening times of the shops and Friary, they were open as Sunday's so I thought they will charge only 2.50 for 6 hours. I wanted to make sure so called Guildford's Prking Office. Of course they didn't work either on Bank Holiday Monday so you would assume they operate with reduced charges. emm, WRONG! Upon arrival I saw the PArk+Ride buses running so I thought this won't be good and when we tried to pay for parking the machine charged us normal 1.30 per hour rate. Even on their website you can't figure out what the fees are on Bank Holidays so BEWARE as if a Bank Holiday in not a Sunday you have to pay normal fees here!
