Excellent pan-Italian restaurant, with good pizza! I'm Italian and very hard to please when it comes to Italian restaurants abroad. Positano hits all the marks in my opinion: traditional cuisine, not just the usual staples, good pizza, excellent service. I especially love Positano's fish-based first courses. The restaurant is situated in the oldest buildings in Guildford, which gives it a special atmosphere. But it's not big - reservations are highly recommended especially on Saturdays.
Went here on a Sunday night for my partners birthday and had an incredible time. Every member of staff was so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were great and you will never go hungry here. One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much - we will be back!

Have been going regularly for years. One of the very best Italian restaurants in London. All cooked from fresh whilst you wait. Great atmosphere. The fresh fish is always superb. I like the Dover Sole. Like no other.
