Very nice place. Unfortunately Guildford council is introduced parking change, hence on next election I will vote against any present councillors.

Brilliant place for a walk, especially with a dog as you can get far away from the roads. Has the jolly farmer at one side where you can stop for a drink afterwards.

Whitmoor Common has always been a favourite for walking my dog. It is currently very water logged though and the streams are swollen. Not a problem for my water loving Springer though, but I would recommend wearing wellie for humans. Such a shame to see the charred remains of the recent fire that decimated the heather, plant and animal species. Parking meter still not in operation either so that's a bonus!

It is a fantastic place to go for a walk. I have a dog and he just loves his walks there. However if the charges are brought in I will not be walking him there. I am retired, encouraged to walk by the medical profession and yet I have to pay for the privilege which I cannot afford twice a day. I already pay council tax so why should we pay more. Dog walkers will probably be the only people who will use the common as they can pass on the charges to their clients. The council really need to review this!

Possibly a very nice place to get in touch with nature, walk the dog, get some exercise, see some scenery. But for reasons better known to council and planners access to this land is extremely difficult. Any road or bridleway that would normally have space to park has been cordoned off or otherwise prevented from vehicular access. Seems strange to me but then perhaps there is a reason. Either way there's little or no signage and 1 leaves with a genuine feeling that I'm not welcome here.
