Took 2 attempts to diagnose a problem that I had already told them about. The first mechanic at Motormech said ' oh yeah i could tell it was the clutch in about 10 seconds" ..I was then charged half an hour's labour. for their time. There was lots of horsing around in the background when I was there. I was quoted 8 hours labour for a clutch tepair, so not worth it for a 2002 Renault Clio.
Needed to get my sons car MOT done. I am not local to the area so had to look up garages on the internet, relying on reviews. They collected the car and returned it for him after the mot. Very happy.
160 for an interim service. 1 more expensive than quote from FG Barnes (main dealer). When questioned about this he agreed to knock off 18 and I had no choice but to pay the 142 with a very sour taste in my mouth.I will not be returning.
