The lady was rude and uncooperative
A disaster. Sent in a formal dress and coat first thing Tuesday morning and was assured theyd both be returned by Friday at the latest as both for a wedding on Saturday. They left it til 5pm Friday to advise they have not been able to clean in time, items still off site at the factory and unlikely to come back until Monday. The staff member even apologised and said it was her error not communicating the urgency to the factory or back to us to advise a delay earlier in the day but when I asked about a refund she said this is not likely. Disgusted! I now have to go urgently shop for a brand new outfit for the wedding which is tomorrow as this was my only formal outfit. Turns out the dry cleaning here costs you a few hundred quid in replacement garments
Tried Johnsons and they were closed (even though it said they should be open on the front door and owner had confirmed I could drop a suit in early morning!)Phone Trend and they confirmed that same day dry cleaning at very short notice was possible.Dude was legit and customer service excellent. Thanks Trends, lifesavers!
So expensive. Tried to charge me 16.50 for a suit as the trousers and jacket didn't match. The lady was rude and uncooperative. Was a new customer so they have just lost a potential regular. Well done!!! Took it into Markenfield dry cleaners and their prices were a lot more reasonable.
