We requested referral here after our previous specialist vets could not/would not help our JRT with prostate cancer. All the staff at Fitzpatricks were so friendly and truly do care about the animals they look after. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none.Unfortunately we were too late for our fur baby.But even during the most difficult decisions the Fitzpatrick team stood by us with compassion and support. I'd not hesitate to use them again - but hope not to .. :)RIP.. Dave the dude
The 1st impression when you walk through the door & greeted by the reception staff is great. However having had to make many trips there my news didn't have an happy ending with the loss of my best friend Alfie Having battled a long cancerous illness which was very aggressive even after having the huge tumour removed including his left leg.The initial surgery was good & he adapted superbly. The follow up chemo treatment was not successful & having reflected on this episode I've come to realise radiotherapy may have been a better treatment after surgery? Unfortunately radiotherapy isn't on offer yet at Fitzpatrick Referrals. But I understand this type of equipment is very expensive & it will be available one day.All staff were always helpful here & my last day with Alfie was wonderful yet sad. RIP Alfie 16.02.08 to 12.07.18
