Purchased a Jaguar XF R-Sport from David in Land Rover and the process from start to finish was fantastic. He came in on his day off on a Sunday so I could see the car, took me on a lengthy test drive and didn't rush anything, he's a real peoples person and a credit to Inchape. I bought my XF from this dealer a few years back and was always happy with the service I received, but the dealer seems to have deteriorated in the last few months. First the car developed an electrical fault that meant it couldnt be driven. It took Inchcape 2 weeks to get the part and repair it, during which time they promised to find me a courtesy car, but never did. They also did not contact me to keep me updated with the repair status, which kept on getting longer. I work for a distribution company and know that a part can be shipped from any part of the world in a couple of days, so this says a lot about Jaguars/ the dealers attitude to customer service. Since then I have asked for a replacement service book, which they said they could replace. Then nothing. I have called and contacted them twice using their web contact section, but they never reply. Not sure why they bother to have it.Sorry Inchcape, I love Jaguar cars, but your service level falls way below the mark and is much worse than that received from Citroen or Vauxhall. I will be trying one of your competitors for my next service, and will not look to buy my next Jaguar from you. Very disappointed.
Excellent service, made booking following a prompt phone response.On day of service was attended to immediately, and notified/agreed items for servicing (brake pads + discs). The service took 50% longer than initially indicated due additional items required (discs), however this was acceptable to me.Clear summary of work done, and as my car was just outside warranty these brake items attracted a very significant discount (40%) on the Jaguar 3+ offering. I suggest that Inchcape advertise this more widely to attract Jaguar customers outside warranty. The discounted price was very competitive with non Jaguar service shops.
From the start the whole experience was brilliant, the staff are friendly and approachable, the service second to none and the coffee lovely! Our Sales person Dan couldnt have been more helpful or more professional. I absolutely love my new car! Thanks Sue & Scott
