I attended Lookers VW of Guildford At the end of January 2019 to see if they had a used VW Polo for my daughter and after an excellent consultation from James Gillham we decided to go for a new Polo. Fantastic deal with extras thrown in and a feeling that we were dealing with a very professional outfit. We are very pleased with our purchase and the attention to detail that James gave us. It was so good to dispel the pushy car salesman myths. I did not receive anything for this review and do not work for VW.
Excellent service. Hadn't been to this garage before but needed an MOT on my VW. Car was booked in for first thing the next day, passed the MOT as I'd expected and I collected it in the evening. I was very impressed with the online video from the mechanic highlighting any advisories, as this was something I'd personally not experienced anywhere else. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only one thing which caused me an issue at the time was the parking near the garage. During the day it is almost impossible to find a space to park your car anywhere near the garage. Nothing they can do about it unfortunately as it's a busy estate and that's the way it is, but just something to bear in mind when visiting. Thanks.

Truly shocking service, believe all the bad reviews. They had our car for over a month and couldn't work out what was wrong with it, even their trained auto electrician! Hours of service time and hundreds of pounds later there was still no solution so we decided to take the car away and let an independent auto electrician take a look, he found the fault within a couple of hours and fixed it, the fault was even something Lookers had said they had tested for! We had to pay the bill before they would release the car which we are still trying to recover, admittedly they reduced the bill because they couldn't find the fault but we are still out of pocket by 370 and they do not return calls or emails. Find someone else to service and repair your car.
